What is USAG Team?
For the most talented & dedicated athletes, USAG team is a wonderful way to develop skills and routines. It is a demanding program requiring many hours of hard work, but the rewards are well worth the effort. Athletes must meet strict strength and flexibility requirements; and be willing to practice year-round. When routines are ready, athletes will compete against other clubs, working towards qualification to championship competitions, as well as moving up through the Levels, increasing their skill level as they go. Team isn¹t for everyone, but the rewards for those who qualify are well worth the hard work.

Club Registration & September Tuition - Please fill out your form carefully so we can make any needed changes in the computer. Please return your form with your $35 club registration fee and September tuition by your first practice in September! Please pay for club registration and September tuition on one check and Athlete Registration and Uniforms on a separate check - thanks!

USAG Athlete Registration - EVERYONE COMPETING THIS YEAR needs to sign an Athlete Registration form (this registers you child with the USA Gymnastics National Office so they can compete in meets.) The fee is $49 and both parents & child must sign the registration form. (Pre Team kids do not need this form)

If parents could come to the first practice in Sept, we can get uniform orders, Athlete Registration, fundraising etc., all done. "try on for size uniforms" will be available.

Our Coaches (return to top)
Our coaches are specially selected and trained to safely bring out the best in each child by encouraging each child to exceed their perceived limitations. Without question, it is our great coaching staff who have made East Bay Gymnastics¹ competitive teams so strong for so many years! Click here to get more information about our staff.

Attendance & Make Ups (return to top)
ALL practices are mandatory. There are no make ups, credits, or refunds for missed classes. We will do our best to accomodate Religious Ed classes. (please see Liz) Tardiness will not be tolerated. Arriving more than 10 minutes late OR leaving more than 15 minutes early - 3 times - will count as an absence. Athletes who have injuries are still required to attend at least 1/2 of their scheduled practice time for conditioning, flexibility & rehab training & of course, the missed time will not count against them. If a team member misses more than 3 practices in one month they will be placed on probation for the next month, if attendance does not improve, we will have a parent conference to try to sort out the reason for not coming to practice. The athlete will then be given one more month to meet the attendance requirement. If they still don't meet the attendance requirement, they will lose their place on team.

ALL TEAM MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND
ALL SCHEDULED PRACTICES SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE

Tuition is PER MONTH: Monthly fees are due by the first practice of every month. A $5 late fee will be assesed to payments received after the first practice. If tuition is not paid by the 10th of the month, an additional $20 late fee will be charged for a total of $25.
Athletes who have injuries are still required to attend at least half of their scheduled practice times (ex. 5:30-7:30) for conditionaing, flexibility & rehab training. They will pay half tuition during this time & of course themissed time will not count against them.

Tuition fees are as follow:

Girls & Boys Pre Team	$150/month
Girls & Boys Level 4 & 5 Teams	$220/month
Girls & Boys Level 6-10 & Prep Opts	$275/month

Tuition does NOT include USAG Registration fee, Uniforms & Meet fees.

10% FAMILY DISCOUNT: families with 2 or more children enrolled, get 10% off their total bill!

$35 FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE: This annual fee defrays administrative expenses including software fees, insurance and other administrative costs. This fee covers your entire immediate family and is paid upon initial registration and each September thereafter.
