Elizabeth Flitter - Owner & Program Director

B.A. Physical Education, University of Denver 


Elizabeth has spent a lifetime in the sport of gymnastics. Starting as a child and culminating as an All American Member of the 2 time NCAA National Team Champions at the University of Denver, where she got her BA in physical education. 

Coaching has long been the focus for Elizabeth.

Highlights of her long, professional career include:

  • Founded East Bay Gymnastics in 1984

  • R.I. State Chairman of the USAG Women's Program Committee, 5 years

  • USAG Region 6 Governing Board- Voting Member 5 years

  • NAWGJ Women's Judging Official - 10 years

  • Recipient of 1992 State Service award for volunteer service to the gymnastics community

  • Mt. Hope HS Varsity Gymnastics Coach, 7 years - 2000 State Team Champions

  • Over 40 years of gymnastics experience


Elizabeth has the following certifications:   

  • Certified USAG Safety Development Program

  • Certified Red Cross First Aid & CPR

  • Certified USAG Professional Member

  • Certified USAG Professional Coaches Development Program - Instructor Rating

  • USAG Skill Evaluator

  • USAG Meet Director - Organized and directed 8 years of RI-USAG State Championships

  • Certified RI High School Interscholastic Coaches Association
